Judging a Man by the Company He Keeps: Obama's Endorsements Should Give Us Cause to Worry

Lets look ar some of the Obama supporters now.
 

Hamas first endorsed the candidObama in April when Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef said the Mideast terrorist group supports Obama's foreign policy positions.

"We don't mind -- actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will [win] the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance," Yousef told conservative radio host John Batchelor and WorldNetDaily reporter Aaron Klein.

Hamas yanked its support in June when Obama made a pro-Israel speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Reuters reported. But last week Yousef told Batchelor and Klein that Hamas would send Obama a congratulatory letter "the moment that he will win the election."

Obama has also gotten a nod of approval from Iran.

The country's parliament speaker said on Oct. 22 that Iran would prefer an Obama presidency. "We are leaning more in favor of Barack Obama because he is more flexible and rational, even though we know American policy will not change that much," Ali Larijani told Agence France-Presse.

Chosun Shinbo, a newspaper based in Japan that is a mouthpiece for the North Korean government, wrote in an editorial in June: "We will see a better relationship between the U.S. and the Korean Peninsula with Obama, who sternly criticizes Bush and who would meet the leader of Chosun without pre-conditions."

In February, Investors Business Daily reported that while not endorsing Obama, Colombian guerilla terrorist organization FARC's chieftain Raul Reyes has said he wants to see him in the White House. He told supporters that he met "two gringos" who said "the new president of their country will be Obama and that they are interested in your compatriots. Obama will not support "Plan Colombia" nor will he sign the TLC (Free Trade Agreement)." Plan Colombia is the U.S. program funding the war on drugs and giving military support to the Colombian government.

Obama has even garnered the praises of Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam. "You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking," Farrakhan said.

Fidel Castro has also jumped on the Obama bandwagon, saying Obama "without doubt is, from the social and human point, the most advanced candidate" running for the U.S. presidency, Reuters reported in May.

Is this a Prelude of Things to Come If Obama Gets Elected? The Character Assassination of an Average Joe

Have you been watching TV, reading the Liberal blogs?

I have heard so many horrible things said by Obama supporters trying to engage in character assassination, targeting Joe the Plumber.
 
Ok so Joe is his middle name --whewww big conspiracy.... The media is glad to report what the Obama machine is feeding them. Gee Joe is not a  licensed plumber but really only works for a plumbing services business. Hmmm talk about parsing words?
 
Suddenly the media seems to have Joe's  tax records and they have other personal information on this poor guy that are airing to the world.
 
Joe is not a felon --not a terrorist --not even a former terrorist, he is a legal voter, a hard working, proud American  who loves his country and has been paying attention to the politics and he is being attacked with a personal smear campaign. Proportionally, he has become subject to more vetting  than the mainstream, liberal media has done to Obama.
 
I read a blog where it was suggested that Joe thought he could pull a fast one by pretending to be an undecided and asking Obama a question in hopes of tripping him up....
 
I read this and I was sickened I thought "Wait a minute are we suggesting that because someone maybe a Republican they are not allowed to ask a direct question to the Democrat Presidential candidate who is going door to door on the street where he lives?" 
 
It is not like Joe went out of his way to crash an Obama rally to raise a stink. How thin skinned are they?
I do believe Joe was aware that Obama's tax plan would not help him if he were to be able to buy he business he worked for. I am a small business owner and like Joe I do not yet have the income that would get me taxed at the higher level but I, tend to believe that Obama's approach would hurt business in the long run so if Obama were to come down my street I would have no problem doing what Joe the plumber did. I too would reserve the privilege of asking the candidate a direct question that challenged his tax plan to see if in fact he had a good response that might make me see things differently.

 
You act as if Joe tried to trick Obama..he offered a scenario of what he hopes to do - try to buy a company and grow it- maybe not today -but his ultimate goal and he said straight out " your tax plan would hurt me wouldn't it?"  Note :Joe was respectful and did not attack or act rude - he simply asked a straight question and put the Obama tax plan into terms that small business owners can appreciate. He did nothing wrong or unethical. He let Obama speak and he engaged him in a discussion - one that Obama rather wished had not happened primarily because Obama slipped up and responded that he wanted to "spread the wealth"
I am saddened to see how the machine has gone after an average citizen trying to destroy an mans life and possibly his lively hood.. Why? becasue he put their candidate of choice in a touchie position.

I was not impressed when Obama mocked him in a speech he gave yesterday saying " I don't know too many plumbers making $200,000.00 a year" which ofcourse mischaracterized what the question had been about..If someone bought a plumbing company - not an idividual plumber. I am sure Rotorooter manages to clear the thresh hold Mr Obama.
So what if Joe works for a plumbing services company- I do not doubt his employer is going to be impacted by Obama's new tax programs so Joe and the others working for the comapany may soon find them selves out of a job as the company may have to let people go - or as Joe pointed out to Obama- they may have to cut back hours.

Now a Government agencies who claims to protect the people are going to go after Joe because he does not have a license to practice plumbing Government licensing red tape because another bureaucracy was built around more regulations and fin themselves in the business of charging folks to get licence's and charging them renewal fees just so that they can work hard and provide for their families;
BIG Government destroying another hard working person even as they support those who do nothing to contribute to society.
Since when do average citizens get exposes done on them just for asking their politicians a tough question? Obama's campaign has already used strong arm and intimidation tactics to get NRA adds taken off the TV in certain markets threatening lawsuits against the stations if they aired them. We hear the Obama supporters cry fouls claiming voter intimidation and suppression..yet it appears that they are the ones who use these intimidation to suppress free speech. When a voter can not ask a politician a question with out fear of suffering the consequences..will people dare ask?
 
Talk about distraction - this attack on Joe is what is known as the art of personal destruction being done to get American voters to quit talking about what Obama said when responding to Joe's question.
 
Remember Obama knew nothing about Joe other then the fact that Joe wanted to buy the business he now works for...he did not know if Joe was licensed or how much money he had, or what his tax records indicated ---but Obama said something he now wishes us all to forget....and that is the real story. How an average Joe tripped up the smooth talker by asking him a direct question. Obama true view of America slipped out...

An America where he can decide that Joe makes enough money and that the only fait thing is to come in and take some of it so that he..Obama .."The One" can then decide who or more likely what bureaucracy he deems is appropriate to receive it.
That is the Real story here-After all Obama is running for President not Joe and Obama made a Huge Gaff when he slipped and said that he was about taking Joe's and our' hard earned money , denying us the possibility of further success so that we could support those who have never been a success.
Socialism...Redistribution of wealth.

 But Hey Joe take heart - Obama will be there when you loose your house and your car gets repossessed and you are forced onto the Government dole because the Government, Obama campaign thugs and their conspiratorial media associates saw fit to destroy you because your question challenged them.

If You Manage to Sell Your House Obama Will Make You Pay 28% New Tax...

Folks - What Obama does not tell us when he talks about lowering taxes is that :
 
1) Obama reverses the across the board Bush tax - Which raises ALL our taxes.
2) Obama then put his tax "cut" in place.. His tax cuts on those of us who are paying taxes will actually be more income taxes than we are paying now
3) Obama does not tell you since between 35% to 40% of people are not paying income tax they will actually be given money back which they NEVER paid in. That is not a tax cut that is income redistribution....also known as wellfare.
 
The American Enterprize Institute charted this. Don't let Obamas eloquent double speak get you to buy into what is in fact tax hikes and socialist BIG Governement

CAPITAL GAINS TAX:

MCCAIN

0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not

Propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

OBAMA

28% on profit from ALL home sales

An American Plumbers Tax Story: Obama's Red Policies.Taking America into Socialism

A  hard working plumber told Obama at a rally this weekend that he is planning to buy a small business for $280,000 and plans on expanding it by buying more trucks and employing additional help . He asked Obama on the rope line" My taxes would go up under your plan ..wouldn't it? "
 
 Obama responded saying " It's not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody that is behind you - they have a chance at success too."   Obama went on to say " My attitude is that if the economy is good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody...I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
 
Say what? What kind of America does Obama want to create? What is his vision of the American Dream?  Is it one where hard working Americans, who strive to build businesses, that create jobs, balance their budgets, live within their means are penalized with increased taxes preventing them from attaining their American Dream? What is this building the economy from the bottom up? I was never given a job by someone who didn't have any money. 
 
Well let us look a little closer at the Plumbers story...

 The Plumber is an hard working average Joe ...Joe Wurzelbacher to be exact. Joe lives in a neighborhood where homes are between $90,000 to about $145,000. He doesn't plan on buying a bigger house and says that all his money will go into building his new business so he could not afford a larger house even if he wanted one. 
 
Joe knows what is is like to live paycheck to paycheck and little by little he got out of that position by working as a plumber, where he literally had to deal with other peoples backed up toilets, crap and urine, filling a job position that many would turn their nose up at doing.
 
Joe's hard work allowed him to save and he is ready to buy a company which he plans to expand ultimately creating new jobs for others.
 
When he asked Obama about his tax plan and Obama essentially told him that it was fair that he pay more taxes. He told Obama that his policy would keep him from achieving HIS American Dream and Obama told him that his policy would help bring him more customers.
 
The Plumber did not buy what Obama said in fact he said after speaking with Obama he is more frightened by Obama's responses to his question than he was before. It was clear to him that Obama does not understand how small business operates.
 
Obama's tax policy means for this plumber that he needs to be less successful and not grow his business. Not buy those extra trucks nor hire the extra plumbers who would use them. So instead of expanding and hiring more employees as he had hoped to do this coming year- Joe actually might need to reduce his payroll and even cut back on current staff.
 
Then there are the mysterious fines Obama wishes to put on small businesses who do not provide health care for all there employees. A fine that despite Senator McCain's requests during the last debate, Obama failed to define in actual dollars. As a small business owner I can not afford health insurance for myself much less for anyone else . 
 
And when Obama claims he will cut taxes for 95% of Americans, Obama is also not being direct with us. The math does not compute. Between 35% to 40% of Americans are not paying income taxes now. Which means that the we are really talking about well fair since you can not return money to someone who did not pay money in to begin with. Obama knows better than to call it what it is so he hides it by calling it a tax cut.  Today the main economic Obama guru and economic advisor danced around this very issue of wealth redistribution until he finally had to admit during an interview -- that if a single person or their businesses makes $200,000 ($250,000 for couples) that they will have to pay more in taxes and their money will be redistributed to people making less..including those who pay NO income tax at all. 
 
Obama says that Bush's tax cuts were part of the problem. So what does that tell you ?  He thought Bushes tax cuts were too deep and not only for the rich so Obama will reverse the Bush across the board tax cut which means Our taxes will ALL go up. 

Obama will then give you his tax cuts to replace the Bush tax cuts but the new tax cut's will not be as deep for middle class Americans as they currently are now. In actuality most of us who are middle and lower middle America will see a tax hike. This was charted out clearly by the American Enterprise Institute.  An economic tax watch dog group. 
 
Obama plans to set the Corporate tax rate at set 35% , however he is even tougher on small business and some small businesses will find themselves taxed as high as 68% allowing those business to keep only 32 cents of every dollar. The higher business and corporate taxes will result in more business closures and more corporations setting up shop outside the country. Already Ireland is seeing an increase in prosperity since they lowered the corporate and business tax rate to 11%. Microsoft is one example of a major corporation taking white collars jobs out of the country and setting up shop where they can take advantage of the 11% rate and who wins besides Microsoft? The people of Ireland who are getting the jobs and the economic boost to their country.
 
Obama's policy will force small businesses to make more tough choices than they already have  A) We will see a significant increase for cost for goods and services as businesses struggle to close the tax gap or face going out of business all together  B) Many businesses will be downsizing because they just can not afford to keep a full staff and pay additional benefits resulting in more unemployment -Just what we need. 
 
So lets once again examine what Obama said. I will help by dropping the political posture that Obama uses and translating his economic policy into words that actual say it like it is. 
 
  Joe you make too much --there are people who do not make as much as you-- I am going to come and take more of your hard earned money by raising your taxes and I will spread it around -- redistribute the wealth to someone or more likely to some bureaucracy, that my administration deems worthy. In a nut shell socialism. It will leave us seeing red all the way around.

The "Stiffness" that is John McCain

I saw someone write on a blog a concern that McCain had a  "hunched posture at the debate podium". This person then went on to suggest that he was "clinging to the podium for dear life"  Others Obama supporters have noted that McCain looked stiff and uncomfortable by contrast to Obama. The focus seemed to be on the physical postures rather than on the substance of their discourse. This does not surprise me since symbolism over substance seems to be the main thrust of the Obama campaign.
 
So lets talk about McCain "stiffness" shall we. If he appears stiff it is no wonder. The mans body was abused beyond belief as a Pow. The Obama camp would like you to disregard this is an old story and not relevant. Yet they make it relevant every time they attack McCain for his physical limitations. Indeed, McCain has limited use of arms, hands, his left knee, and neck. Both his shoulders were broken and re-broken and left to heal without medical treatment. This man not only lived in constant pain for the almost 7 years that he was a POW, but has lived with the residual pain ever since.
 
Younger folks in their 20's, 30's sometimes have a hard time grasping that as you age your mind usually out lasts your body in fact your experiences make you wiser even if you wake up with stiff joints.

Now as I draw close to what many call the "new 30's"  I occasionally wake up with aches and pains that I did not experience before. It happens. That's life. I know a lot of former jocks who complain about chronic pain in their shoulders, hips or knees that effect the way they walk, stand, turn their heads and this coming from the guys who got medical attention to deal with their injuries.
 
A friend of mine was an extreme sport enthusiast. At 30 he began experiencing chronic pain that made it almost impossible to move around the house without his body flaring up. He began wallowing in self pity and allowed it to consume him. McCain on the other hand has shown strength of character and mental fortitude. He not only managed to survive the initial ordeal as a POW, but he did not allowed it to stop him after his release, nor has he used it as an excuse to sit on his butt feeling sorry for himself like so many others who have suffered and lost far less. 

Personally, When looking at the Presidential candidates I am not looking for a show horse. That said Obama's flair and youthful prancing does not do it for me. Nor does Obama's  La la land Santa Wish List Economics Policies which promise everyone something if he is elected.  I call it a wish list because he can not possibly begin to pay for his many new Government programs much less deliver these while reducing taxes as he claims.
 
So what do I want in the next President? I want a Work Horse who will pull the country out of the muck of over spending and Government waste. A President who understands that the Government already has enough of our money and that they just need to use it better. I want a President who is not afraid to take a stand and be unpopular with other politicians--even those of his own party-- to put America first.
 
 I believe that McCain is the man for the job. The same strength of character that allowed him to overcome his ordeal as a POW and the mental fortitude that would not allow him to give up when facing overwhelming odds proves to me that he has what it takes to deal with our economic and foreign policy situations straight on. He can face the discomfort of a daunting task, knows what to do and is willing to go the distance. He offers us steady leadership, tried and true to his principles. McCain has the legislative track record that documents his commitment to reforming Gov.and a voting record to proves that he puts tax payers and our Country First.
 
Give me McCain, the Maverick Sheriff to clean up Washington Spending. Obama can keep his feel good wish list..and Socialist policies.. I want real quality, experienced, leadership!

I had the opportunity to meet Palin and speak with her at some length. I was impressed through and through. I believe Palin is a rising star and she reminds me of another underestimated Conservative : Ronald Reagan who never flinched in the face of the enemy and who called for the wall to be torn down. Palin inspires and leads with her strength of conviction. She puts America first and yet she has a heart and and eye towards the global community as well. Those who would try to detract from the content of the speech claiming she is not responsible for the content are misinformed. She is an intelligent woman and the views expressed in this speech, reflect her long held support and love of Israel. Sarah has always been known as a great communicator - Even in Alaska her speeches she connected with her audience in a profound way. She is authentic and speaks from the heart. She means what she says and so it is not a surprise than any speech she would deliver even if it was not entirely written by her would have to reflect her authentic self. Pity the words could not have been delivered aloud...These are the words the world needed to hear! The words that ring true! The words that rally support, build confidence and bridge differences across party lines. McCain made an excellent choice and for that he earns even more of my respect.
